We are excited to confirm the dates for our free Crowdfunding Training sessions. The first sessions will be delivered to business-owners seeking access to finance.

As part of the CDB-funded Equity Crowdfunding Project, the Eastern Caribbean Securities Regulatory Commission (ECSRC) conducted a series of stakeholder consultation events in September 2022, to secure feedback on the draft Equity Crowdfunding Rules. These rules seek to introduce an appropriate regulatory framework to govern equity crowdfunding activity across the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU) in order to improve access to finance for MSMEs.

Since the public launch in August, the ECSRC is pleased to announce that interest in the Caribbean Development Bank-funded Crowdfunding Project has been high, and now announces the dates for its first round of three (3) stakeholder engagement sessions, scheduled for the last week of September.

The Eastern Caribbean Securities Regulatory Commission is working to facilitate the launch of an equity crowdfunding platform by 2023 to improve access to finance for MSMEs and support the sustainable recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, and invites interested parties to register for a series of free awareness-raising and training activities.
